Hydrophones are very sensitive sensors for correlation and made especially for the hard circumstances on plastic pipes or large diameters. Hydrophones are directly connected to the water column. Hydrants are the common connection points but any other connection like taps in houses are probable.

SebaKMT hydrophones feature a high sensitivity especially in the lower frequency band. Because of that they are very appropriate for correlation on plastic pipes, pipes with a long distance or larger diameter.

The handling is very easy and allows a quick mounting to hydrants below and beneath the ground. A de-aeration valve on the top of the hydrophone is used to comfortably carry out the ventilation of the sensors.
